· Many of you are great guitarists, singers etc., but have never recorded or engineered.  Sure it’s easy to twist the knobs around and add effects, but do you really like the end result?  Do you understand how all those things interact with each other to make a great or poor mix?  Do you have an environment suitable for mixing?

· Want to get a song mixed to

    “see how it’s done” ?

· Mix will be presented as mp3 for final approval

· Will be returned as a RiffWorks^TM file

· Mastering

· You’ve found your way around recording and mixing okay, but those songs don’t sound like the ones on other CD’s, MySpace, etc.  They’re not as loud, maybe not as balanced as they need to be.

· $25 / song

· Will be returned as a mixdown stereo wav, mp3, or ogg file

· Advanced Fixes

· Vocal pitch corrections

· Guitar pitch corrections

· Timing corrections

· Yes, pitch correction, timing corrections, fixing a botched note etc... can all be solved and stay in RiffWorks!

· These are hard to quantify because the amount of surgery varies from song to song and artist to artist, but will be quoted upon request. 

· While I can perform surgery, I can’t perform actual miracles...I have no tool that will cause your playing to sound like Steve Vai or make you sing like Sebastian Bach!  Alvin the Chipmunk? Maybe...

· Typically  $20-100 / song depending on work required.  A single vocal in the songlayer $20, one spread out across several riffs $50, and so on. (email us for more detail!)

· Will be returned in place in the RiffWorks song file

· Backing track transfer to RiffWorks^TM

· RiffWorks^TM is a great program, it’s allowed you to record great tunes from scratch.  But what do you do when you have an mp3 of a great backing track you want to solo or sing all over ? 

· I can transfer any mp3, wav, or ogg file into the song layer of RiffWorks^TM as one long stereo song riff.  You can then solo or build riffs over it to your heart’s content!

· File will be provided by the customer

· Will be returned as a RiffWorks^TM file with the customer’s track transferred into a layer in the Song Riff

Walking By Myself Backing Track (24mb)

· Export to WAV for a DAW

· Did you start your project in RiffWorks and now want to take it into a big studio?

· Have a friend with traditional Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) software that you want to work with?

· Perhaps you need Gator-Studios to use effects, loops, or MIDI which is just not doable inside RiffWorks.

· This is not just exporting, it’s making sure the exported tracks are consistent across the song.  That’s important!

· $30 / song, for straight conversion to separate wav files for each instrument...we will convert and return the individual wav files to you.

· Mixing in a Traditional DAW (Cubase or Tracktion)

· You may be working in RiffWorks, or you may not!  You might want to take advantage of the extra capabilities that a Traditional DAW offers, such as MIDI, special plugins, VSTi’s etc.  We do that too!

· $100/song

· Mix will be presented as mp3 for final approval

· Will be returned as a 24 bit stereo WAV file

· Tracking, Mixing, and Mastering at Gator Studios in Apex, NC

· Upon request only...we are a virtual post-production facility, but there are occasions where a song or two have been done here.

· Typically vocal overdubs or acoustic guitar, voiceovers, etc.

· If you’re local in NC and need a place to record, we can probably work something out!

CD Replication + S&H—$6/disk

Want a handlful of CD’s for submitting to a replicator or CD Baby?  Or a few for your friends?  We will do up to 10 with Lightscribe disks in envelopes, and ship them in the US.  Bring your own art or we’ll put a generic label together for you!
